Alleppey is a district located in the district of the state of Kerala in India. It is also known as Alappuzha in the local language. This city is a major tourist destination of the state and this is often called the ‘Venice of the East’ due to the canals that connect it to Kerala’s famous twisting backwaters. • You can visit the Karimadi Kuttan which is a place famous for a black granite Buddha which was made in the 9th century and this statue is especially conserved by the Archeological Survey of India.
• You cannot miss the Marari Beach or the Mararikulam beach which is famous for its beauty and this place is also famous for its Mahadeva Temple and Churches.
• In Alleppey you cannot miss the Main beach which is extremely beautiful and you can go for free pony rides and camel rides year as people also play beach volleyball here.
