Gole Market:
It is located near Gandhinagar. It is one of the most popular local markets in the city. This market is famous for clothing stores like Yugal Sons, Apasara Shopping complex are located in the area and famous eateries like Pahalewan di hatti, Jai hind bakery these shops came into existence here since decades. Here you can enjoy and sit at the famous Pahalwan di hatti and Jai Hind bakery after shopping.
Polo View Market:
This is one of the best markets in Srinagar. Polo View Market is a famous market to buy many things like jamawars (a kind of shawl), wooden jewelry boxes and walnut-wood carved items, papier-mache products of various sizes, show pieces, statues, vases and Christmas decorations at affordable price.
Floating vegetable market:
It is located at Dal Lake on shikaras (boats). It is famous for its ‘floating vegetable market’. There are no permanent shops on the lake. This is a very old market. It is open between 5 am to 7 am. Most of the vegetables are grown on the lakeside. Many tourists come here just to take photographs of it.
