Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks located in the state of Rajasthan in India. It is counted among the largest national parks in northern India. This national park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan which is quite a far away from the capital city of Jaipur. Ranthambore initially established as Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary by the Government of India but was declared one of the Project Tiger reserve and a National Park.
