Sunderbans is a Tiger Reserve, Biosphere Reserve and a National Park located in the state of West Bengal in India. This national park is part of the Sundarbans located on the Delta of Ganges of that share both India and Bangladesh. This delta is thickly covered by mangrove forests, and is known as one of the largest reserves for the Royal Bengal Tigers. You can see a number of mammals, birds, and reptile and also include the salt-water crocodile.Sunderbans are named after the Sundari trees which are found densely in this national park and this national park is also recognized as the UNESCO Heritage Site. In this park you can around 400 Royal Bengal tigers and 30,000 spotted deer which is really a huge number. This national Park has also managed to be Eco-friendly as this is a “No Plastic Zone” and put their best effort to keep the national park truly beautiful like its name. The literal meaning of Sunderbans is “Beautiful Forests”.
