Nehru Place
Nehru Places is one of the oldest and most crowded markets of Delhi which is best known as the largest computer (peripherals) markets in India. However, there is lot of street foods corner which offers varieties of snacks, fast foods and Chinese. But, one place I will highly and most recommended for you to enjoy its delicious foods at Punjabi style!! Yes, Standard Punjabi Khana (Food Corner).
It is one of the most famous street corners of Nehru Place computer market with heavy fresh meal. You can taste there Rajma Chawal, Kadi Pakoda, Paneer Chawal, Chole Chawal, Daal Chawal and lots of dishes are available for a perfect lunch with very reasonable rates. However Nehru Place main market is too crowed and it may be problem for you to find out this place. Ask anyone…. It is the most famous corner of market, you will catch it easily. May be you have to wait there because the row of hungers could be long in afternoon. But wait there, and taste there. I bet you will not be disappointed.
If you ordered a plate of Paneer Chawal which is most suggest from my side, it would be best for you. Just look at the size of Paneer…almost 150-200 Grams in each plate. I know sell is very good, but still… I don’t know how Sardar Ji manages to provide such the best quality at very reasonable price. So, plan a weekday for spend some time in Nehru Place market to taste its delicious foods. But it closed on Sunday, Badly 🙁
But there are also plenty of other places and restaurants in Nehru Place where you can eat anyday in a week. Check it out-
- Oh Calcutta
- Angrezee Dhaba
- Singh Sahib
- Hotel Swati
