Brajeshwari Devi Temple. Built in the shikhara-style, like most Chamba temples,This is the temple dedicated to goddess Durga and is famous for the fine carved sculptures. The style which makes the temple different from others is the shikara style and in top there is a wooden amalaka.

Laxmi narayan temple

This temple was built in 10th century by Raja Sahil Varman , in the it was first erected in the 10th Century. Wooden Chhatris or umbrella-like structures are built to keep the snowfall off the roofs. There is also a wheel shaped roof that staves off the cold. There were also some shrines built in the temple complex. All of which you will see when you visit this most revered temple in what is known as Himachals Holy Valley.

It is located in the heart of Chamba. It was built by Raja Sahil Varman in the memory of his daughter in champavati. This temple holds great religious and historical significance, is located nearby Treasury building and Police Post in Chamba. It can be discerned by its Shikhara style and several ornate stone carvings that make it unique from other temples in this region. The Shikhara style of this temple reminds travelers of the architectural wonders of Nepal that features cylindrical structures categorized into 5 to 9 parts.

Chamunda Devi Temple

Chamunda Devi Temple was built by Raja Umedh Singh in 1762 and is a wooden temple with a gabled roof. The temple’s architecture is a marvelous cross between the Indian and British styles and is dedicated to Chamunda Devi an incarnation of the Goddess Durga. The temple is elaborately designed with wood carvings and figures of various deities inside the complex.

This temple is also of shikhara style and is situated in the vicinity of Chamba palace. This famous Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna whose image holding a flute is enshrined with Radha. In copper plate of Raja Balbhadra issued in A.D. 1595, mention is made of this temple.

Shri Hari rai Temple

Shri Hari Rai Temple is an ancient temple of Chamba. Built in stone, this temple is designed in shikhara style and many tourists visit here to worship Lord Vishnu who has three faces-human, lion and boar, made up of 8 different materials. The main idol is artistically adorned with finger-rings, armlets, mukut, necklaces and kundals. It dates back to the 11th century and was built by Salabahana. The temple rests in the north-west corner of the main Chaugan, which is now considered as the official entrance to the town.
