Belgaum is a town located in the state of Karnataka in India. This city is located near the borders of the Indian states of Maharashtra and Goa and that is why you can enjoy both the cultures in this city. This city used to be an integral part of history. It used to be the capital of a dynasty of nine Kadamba kings. In the year 1776, the country was overrun by Hyder Ali of Mysore but was recaptured by the Peshwa with the help of the British. Again this city was handed over to the British East India Company in 1818. This town is located on the foothills of the Sahyadri range or the Western Ghats so you can enjoy a pleasant weather over here.

You can also visit the Dudhsagar Water Falls, which is considered as a heaven for the trekkers as most of the people visit here to trek but the best time to visit here is during monsoons.
