Mohar Kunja is an urban park located on the Cathedral road. It was built by Kolkata Municipal Corporation in 2005. This park was earlier known as the citizen’s park later it renamed as Mohar Kunja a tribute to the legendary Ranbindra sangeet singer Kanika Bandopadhyay. The park is popular among Kolkatans and tourists both, especially for its water laser show a first of its kind in eastern India. The park also has an open-air stage where cultural events are held on a regular basis. Central Park

Safari Park is a small well maintained park in Kolkata. There is even a lake in the park. Which also has a path to walk on, which ultimately leads to a small peninsular type place.
