Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest and the magnificent fort in Jodhpur. This fort situated 400 feet above the city. It was constructed in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha. The fort is situated at the center of the city spread over 5km top on a hill Its walls, which are up to 36 m high and 21 m wide, protect it. There are number of attraction located within the fort like Palaces, Galleries, Museum and Temples.

It is one of the fascinating Palaces in Jodhpur. It was constructed in 20th century by Maharaja Umaid singh . Umaid Bhawan Palace has 347 rooms and serves as the main residence of the former Jodhpur royal family, one of the world’s largest private residences. A part of the royal residence still serves as a living arrangement to the previous illustrious family, while other two sections of the castle are changed over into Taj Palace Hotel and gallery.

It was built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in the memory of Maharaja jaswant Singh. It is one of the most beautiful white marble cenotaphs also known as the Taj Mahal of Marwar. The breathtaking structure is a flawless case of Rajputana style of design. It’s perfect configuration and engineering is typical of the fine craftsmanship of the former time.

Mandore Garden is located about 9 km from the main city Jodhpur. It was the former capital of Maharajas of Marwar. It is visited mainly for the Mandore Fort and the popular Mandore Gardens which was worked around the imperial cenotaphs (Chhatris) of the Rathore rulers made of red sandstone, six of which emerge. While the Mandore Fort is now in ruins, the gardens are still quite charming. It is studded with temples, chhatris and high rock terraces apart from well laid out lawns and topiaries. It also contains a Government Museum which houses various artifacts belonging to the bygone era, and a temple dedicated to 330 million gods.

Ganesh Temple is located in Ratanada about 5 km from the city of Jodhpur. It is home to an eight feet high and five feet wide symbol of Vinayak Ji,.
