6 Nutella treats that are a breeze to put together

They say, “money can’t buy happiness”. Well, it can. You can buy a jar of Nutella, and that’s kind of the same thing. Day or night, a spoonful of Nutella is all you need to cheer yourself up.

6 Nutella treats that are a breeze to put together

Actually, Nutella is the brand name for a sweetened spread made out of cocoa, hazelnut, palm oil, skimmed milk and sugar. Nutella had hit the markets in 1964 and ever since, nobody has been able to find a replacement for it. Generations in a family have various stories to share about their unabashed love for Nutella.

However, there has been a share of criticism for Nutella, where it’s dubbed unhealthy by many health fanatics. The high on calorie spread consists nothing but sugar and oil, which can be extremely harmful for health, especially for children. Time and again, such stories crop up. However, it doesn’t let the sales of the product drop or affect its popularity.

Because there are a hell lot of things that you can do with Nutella:

Nutella, Bacon and Peanut Butter Sandwich – Think of a boring peanut butter sandwich and how you can make it more delicious? Simple. Add some bacon and Nutella. Cook bacon in butter and add its juice into the sandwich. Apply peanut butter on a slice of bread and Nutella on another. Sandwich all the bacon between those slices and toast the breads on both sides. Eat it immediately and enjoy the sinful flavours.

Nutella Milkshake – Who likes to have plain milk? I don’t think there will be a lot of takers for a simple glass of milk. But, a spoon of Nutella can change that. All you need is a glass of cold milk and some Nutella to be swirled around in the food processor. You can add bananas or Oreo in the mix to make it more interesting and delicious. It’s an instant hit with the kids, who try their best to avoid drinking milk.

Nutella cheesecake

Nutella Cheesecake – One of the best things about making this cheesecake is that you don’t need to bake it. All you need is chocolate shavings, Nutella, whipped cream, oreo cookies, melted butter, cream cheese and toasted hazelnuts. Mix the whipped cream, cream cheese, nutella and melted butter in bowl. Pour the batter on top of a crust made out of crushed oreo biscuits and melted butter. Keep it to rest. Garnish it with toasted hazelnuts and serve it cold.

Nutella filled Churros – In the world of food, these are two of the most loved things put together, churros and Nutella. Combine water and butter in a saucepan over low heat and bring it to boil. Once properly mixed, add flour and stir until the dough forms a ball. Remove from the heat and allow it to cool. Add eggs, one at a time. Do not over mix the batter, as that will result in a dense batter, which we don’t wish to make. Fill the batter in a piping bag (with a large star nosel) and carefully make a hollow space in the churro mix in the piping bag before the churros are fried. Once the churros are still warm fill it will Nutella.

Jar of Nutella

Nutella Banana Choco Chip Toasties – One of the simplest things to make when you’re in no mood to do some elaborate cooking. All you need is brown bread, Nutella, choco chips and banana. Apply Nutella on both the breads. Sandwich the choco chips and freshly cut banana inside the breads. Spread some butter on top of both the slices and grill it. More the butter, better the taste. Salty, chocolatey, crunchy and sweet, this has everything you need when you want to feel loved.

Nutella Croissants – A plain buttery croissant is nice, but a plain buttery croissant filled with nutella is nicer! The flaky pastry made with yeast-leavened dough, croissant is a breakfast dish. You can spend a whole day making the pastry at home or you can get a pastry from the supermart and directly put it to bake. And if you want to make things simpler, buy a plain croissant and fill it with oodles of nutella. I bet, you won’t be able to keep your hands off it.

So next time when you are making your ‘To do list’, don’t forget to add:
