Architecture
The famous monument has great architectural values and is considered a great model of the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. Located in the heart of Hyderabad city, Charminar was made of granite, limestone, mortar and pulverized marble by Mohammad Quli Qutub Shah in the year 1591. There are four impressive arches each facing a fundamental point that open into four streets. The structure is 56 meters high and 30 meters wide and has four minarets dominating the landscape of the region as each minaret is equipped with a balcony that gives an awesome view of the city.

Note
1.Closed on Friday from 1:00 Pm to 2:00 Pm for prayers.
