Allahabad Fort
Allahabad Fort, located on the banks of Yamuna River is a magnificent fort build by Mughal King Akbar in 1583. The royal fort has three glorious galleries flanked by high towers. Saraswathi Koop, a well which is believed to be the origin of the invisible river Saraswati, is also inside the fort. One can achieve the amazing view of fort from the river side.
Triveni Sangam
Triveni Sangam one of the most significant tourists spots in Allahabad. It is the confluence of three rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical river Saraswati. A dip in Triveni is believed to be epic; the wash in Sangam cleanses all the sins. The place is crowded on the auspicious occasions of Kumbha and Ardh Kumbha Mela. The boats are also available at the Ghats.
Khusro Bagh

Allahabad Museum
Allahabad Museum inaugurated in 1947 has large collection of displays that showcases across 18 galleries dedicated to archaeological findings, natural history exhibits, art gallery and terracotta artifacts. In addition, the museum also has coin gathering, which includes Kushana and Gupta gold coins. Allahabad Planetarium
Allahabad Planetarium located beside Anandh Bhawan was built in 1979 to encourage scientific thinking. Each show is a celestial journey. There are five shows every day. Each show features thrilling and fascinating aspects related to space and astronomy. The planetarium is also called Jawahar Planetarium.
Ashoka Pillar
Located outside Allahabad Fort was built by Akbar. The pillar has inscription of the Ashoka, Samudra Gupta and Jahangir attributed with the praises of their victories. It is very significant tourist place and must be visited.
All Saints Cathedral
Located on the M.G Road is one of the famous cathedrals in Allahabad. The church was designed in Gothic style by well-known architect, Sir William Emerson. The stained-glass murals can also be seen. The church is also known for the complex work and designs done on the marble altar and is traditionally known as Patthar Girija.
Company Garden
Company Garden is one of the beautiful gardens in Allahabad. The place has great significance in the freedom struggle of country. The statue of Chander Shekhar Azad is standing erectly here and is one of the great attractions at the place. The statues of King George V and Victoria have also been installed here. There is no entry-fee here.
Shivkoti Mahadev Temple
Shivkoti Mahadev Temple, located near Triveni is situated on the banks of river Yamuna directly opposite to the Allahabad Fort. The temple is dedicated to Someshwar Mahadev, which is the Rudra Roop of Lord Shankar. The deity is also known Ekadaksh Rudra, which signifies that Shankar is one of the forms of Rudra. The annual festival here is held in Sharavan Month i.e. in July-August every year.
Allahabad High Court
The Allahabad High Court is one of the first courts established in India. The place was built by Khan Saheb Nizamuddin of Loha Mundi. The court has about 160 judges.
