Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest and the magnificent fort in Jodhpur. This fort situated 400 feet above the city. It was constructed in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha. The fort is situated at the center of the city spread over 5km top on a hill Its walls, which are up to 36 m high and 21 m wide, protect it. Jaswant Thada

It was built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in the memory of Maharaja jaswant Singh. It is one of the most beautiful white marble cenotaphs also known as the Taj Mahal of Marwar.
