Locally known by the name of Lal Quila , Red Fort is a octagon shaped 17th century fort majestic for known for its grandeur architecture built by Mughal Empror Shah Jahan. It was built for the new capital of Mughals Shahjahanabad. Red Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with about 254.67 acres enclosed within 2.4 kilometres of defense walls.

Shri Digamber Jain Lal Mandir is located in Chandni Chowk Delhi just opposite to Red Fort. It is one of the most famous Jain temples in Delhi originally built in 1656. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. You can also find the idol of Lord Adinath here.

St James Church

St James Church also known as Skinner’s Church is one of the oldest churches in India established in 1836 by Colonel James Skinner. The church is located nearby Kashmiri Gate and houses several tombs.

Raj Ghat located in Old Delhi is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi on the banks of the river Yamuna . It is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation.

Gauri Shankar Temple

Located near the famous Digambar Jain Lal Mandir in Chandni Chowk Gauri Shankar Temple is about 800 year old temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva . The idols of Lord Shiva and Parvati, wearing real gold jewellery are situated just behind the Lingham under the silver canopy. Temple is open all the year long and anyone can visit the temple.
