Rajesh Khanna
Jatin Khanna, the first superstar of Indian and Hindi cinema with 74 Golden Jubilee Hits and 22 Silver Jubilee Hits, was born on 29 December 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Known as the most versatile actor who later regionally were given superstar status in media. He entered in Hindi films in the latter half of the 1960s and did 180 films. By 2011, he held the record for a maximum number of films as the solo lead hero and least number of multi star cast films in Hindi cinema. He was referred to as the “first superstar” and the “original superstar” of Indian cinema. He earned a title of phenomenon following 15 consecutive solo hit films in the period 1969-1972, a record that remains unbroken. he was also a Lok Sabha member of the Indian National Congress from New Delhi constituency from 1992 to 1996. He married Dimple Kapadia in March 1973 and had 2 daughters from the marriage. Their elder daughter Twinkle Khanna is married to actor Akshay Kumar. After being critically ill, Rajesh Khanna died on 18 July 2012. Rajesh Khanna has been awarded posthumously India’s third highest civilian honor Padma Bhushan.

Born as Muhammad Yusuf Khan, in Qissa Khawani Bazaar, Peshawar Pakistan to a Pashtun family. Dilip Kumar is considered to be one of the greatest actors of Indian Cinema. This Indian actor and former Member of Parliament started his acting career in 1944 in Jwar Bhata with a screen name, Dilip Kumar, given by Hindi Author Bhagwati Charan Varma. His debut film could not give him much success as a leading actor. However, he didn’t have to wait for a long time as he got first major success with the film Jugnu released in 1947. Dilip Kumar’s career has spanned 6 decades and over 60 films. Critics acclaimed him among one of the greatest actor ever. Legendary figures like Amitabh Bachchan and Satyajit Ray has described him as “the ultimate, the best and “the ultimate method actor”. For his performance in the 1952 film Daag, he got Filmfare Best Actor Award and became the first Indian actor to receive such prestigious award and with 8 wins, he shares the record along with Shahrukh Khan for the most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category. The Government of India honored him with the Padma Bhushan award in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his contributions towards Indian cinema and nominated him to Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian Parliament for a term. He has retired from the Indian film industry in 1998.

Amitabh Bachchan
He was born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad. He is the son of late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. The trademark deep baritone voice, the tall, brooding persona, and intense eyes made Amitabh Bachchan the ideal Angry Young Men in 70s or 80s. Naseeruddin was born on the 20th of July in the year 1950 to a Muslim background Barabanki situated in Uttar Pradesh, India. In the year 1971, Naseeruddin graduated in the field of arts from the well-known Aligarh Muslim University after which he joined the National School of Drama situated in Delhi. Throughout his career, Naseeruddin acted in various notable movies such as Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Katha, Trikal, Sparsh and numerous others. Early in his career he appeared in the Ismail Shroff directed ‘Dil Aakhir Dil Hai’ where he starred opposite actress Rakhi Ji. Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan also popularly known as Irfan khan is an Indian actor. Irfan was born and brought up in Jaipur, India. He was born on January 7, 1967, into a Muslim Nawab family. He was studying for his M.A degree when he earned a scholarship to study at National School of Drama in New Delhi in 1984.
