Also called as H.E.H Nizam’s Museum, Nizam Museum located in Hyderabad offers a glimpse of the treasures and life of the last Nizam of Hyderabad. It is located in Purani Haveli a palace of Nizams ,the last Nizam of Hyderabad state, Osman Ali Khan, Asaf Jah VII . The museum show cases various rare artifacts that he collected and souvenirs, gifts, and mementos that was gifted to him by various other royals.

Osman Ali Khan is considered to tbe the richest person during his time by many. A golden, wooden throne used for the silver jubilee celebrations of the Last Nizam, a gold tiffin box inlaid with diamonds, miniature repilica of the Jubilee Hall, glass inlay painting of Mir Osman Ali Khan. Also, a wooden writing box studded with mother-of-pearl, diamond and gold-studded daggers, caskets, and silver ittardans presented by the raja of palvancha. silver coffee cups studded with diamonds and silver filigree elephant with mahout are on display.

Apart from Friday the museum is open daily to tourists from 10 AM to 5 PM, with an entrance fee of Rs. 65 for adults and Rs. 15 for children.
