- While entering in the Jagannatha Temple make sure to put off your leather items such as wallets, shoes and belts as they are prohibited in the temple premises.
- Do visit the Nandan Kanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar near Puri. This is the place where you can have a watch to various birds and wild animals. There are many unusual animals are also kept here, so you will be lucky to see them.
- Do visit the Peepli from where you can but applique lamps which are extremely beautiful and can be kept in your home during festivals. Also do shop for the handicrafts and the handlooms of Odhisa from the souvenir shops.
