Kasargod is a town located in the state of Kerala in India.   • The prime attraction of Kasargod is the Bekal Fort which is an ancient Fort and believed to be 300 years old and this fort is made with great care and defense technique because this fort was built as the fort of defense where the kings of the Perumal Age used it as their place of targeting the enemies and they can attack in reverse well answering them. You can also see beautiful beaches near the Bekal Fort and also enjoy the Bekal Aqua Park and enjoy pedal boating there.
  • More in Kasargod you can visit the Ananthapura Lake Temple which is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in the middle of a lake in Kasargod. This is the only lake temple in the entire state and believed to be the original seat of the Lord.
  • You can also visit the Malik Dinar Mosque which is a great religious place to visit here as this is a historical mosque in of Kasargod. This town has proved itself as an important place for the Muslims as this mosque believed to have been founded by Malik Deenar. In this mosque you can see the grave of Malik Deenar, one of the devotee of Prophet Muhammad and the place is sacred to Muslims. Another notable mosque, which is Theruvath Mosque is also a great place to visit among religious spots in Kasargod.
  • You can also visit the Madhur Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and there is also an idol of Lord Ganesha settled here and there are very interesting stories associated this temple.
  • You can also visit the Chandragiri Fort which was built in the 17th century; this fort stands majestically with great historical significance.
