Gir National Park and Sanctuary is located in the state of Gujarat in India. This Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1965 and known as a house of Asiatic Lions. This national Park is located in the deciduous green forests on the hilly areas of Junagarh District in between many rivers and with a nearby Kamleshwar Dam which houses numerous crocodiles. This is a declared protected area by the state government of Gujarat and various NGOs. There are various forests in this area which makes around 400 species of various plants, 3000 species of birds and 38 species of mammals along with various other kinds of animals in the sanctuary.
Monday To Saturday : 6:00 am – 9:00 am | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm | 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
For Indian Tourists : Rs 4500/- Jeep ( Maximum 6 Persons are allowed in one Jeep )
For Foreign Tourists : Rs 12000/- Jeep ( Maximum 6 Persons are allowed in one Jeep )
