Fort have 10 gates namely Khanderao Gate, Datia Darwaza, Unnao Gate, Jharna Gate, Laxmi Gate, Sagar Gate, Orchha Gate, Sainyar Gate and Chand Gate. You can find Shiva temple, Ganesh temple at the entrance of the fort which are famous inside the fort complex. Some of the notable buildings of the fort are Baradari, Ganesh mandir, Shahar Darwaza, Bhawani shankar, Kadak bijali, Grave of Gulam Gaus Khan, Panch Mahal, Siva temple, Execution tower, Kal kothri.

Jhansi Fort is open from Sunrise to Sunset to tourist and there is a nominal entry fees of Rs 5 for tourists.
